Came in with some old friends. Wasn't sure about fresh seafood in the Midwest... Everything was amazing! Oysters, tuna and crab legs; everything tasted very fresh, and cooked perfectly! Our server, Natalie was attentive and very helpful, even though she was incredibly busy. Definitely recommend this place!

Great food and very nice atmosphere. Had drinks and food with some friends from out of town. Would give 5 stars, but they are a little bit pricey. Otherwise, great place for really good seafood.

They have a huge amount of variety, even for a seafood restaurant. Their daily fresh fish and oysters change daily. Everything tasted wonderful and was cooked to perfection. You should come here expecting to spend a lot but there are a few cheaper options available. My only gripe was the service. We had a reservation made long in advance, however upon arrival we were forced to wait 10 minutes for them to get it ready for us. Our server also was cold and seemed lost, but I'm willing to give him the befit of the doubt since the restaurant had only just opened. Overall great dining experience. We all went home with heavy stomachs and lighter wallets.

The fresh oysters were great, if expensive. The chargrilled oysters were nothing to write home about. The mixed drink crushes were very tasty! We had the Mermaid Water and Strawberry Basil, which were delicious. The pies are to die for - had the key lime pie!

This place is a good solid restaurant in Lee's Summit. The whole crispy fish is to die for! Love their buffalo wings they were absolutely delicious. We have eaten there several times and then pleased each time

Service was good but none of our food was good. Calamari was so overcooked and the sauces they came with had little to no flavor. The fried oysters were full of sand. The shrimp po boy was no good. None of us could eat our food. We will not be coming back. Way overpriced for what you get. Surprised that the people that own summit grill and 3rd street social run this place because I love both of those places. This place no.

The food was excellent and the staff were great. I definitely want to come back and try other dishes.

This place is good for what it is.The name is Pearl Tavern, and that is exactly what you get bar-ish type food my wife and I accidentally went here on a date night. Their food is not the best for dates, they had candlelit tables that were not very private, which who cares because it has more of a friends and hang out type of layout. Which is completely acceptable as long as you know what you’re getting into. Five stars all the way, the food was great and it is a very high-end restaurant just please know what you’re getting into when you go

The Salmon was probably the best that I've ever had. The drinks were delicious as well. The food paled in comparison to the service we received from Chase! He was amazing. He easily answered all of our menu questions and also included some of his personal favorites. His sense of humor was the icing on the cake. He made the whole meal extraordinary. Thank you for laughing at all of our jokes. Maybe someday you'll get that raisin sour cream pie 😂

I love this place. Food is absolutely amazing. All of it.

Atmosphere is a dating vibe. Lights are dim and soft conversation are merging. Staff is amazing and gently very pleasant. So for our waitress, I give 5 stars. Items I have chosen to partaken was the appetizer chicken wings, cheese burger and fries and a bowl of gumbo with small bites size chicken, shrimp and pork with okra with was more on a taste of a gravy style gumbo. So to sum it all up I will return if someone else is paying.

I attended one of their Thursday boil nights and it was PHENOMENAL. Everything tasted amazing. I’m a New England girl that is very particular about her sea food. Pearl Tavern did not disappoint. The seafood tasted so fresh. I loved the family style dining too! First food was served was a salad, followed by their macaroni and cheese - so amazing!! Then came the the yummy yummy seafood! And, if you’re not incredibly full when dessert comes around, they served a chocolate pie with a side of ice cream! I’m no food critic, but that pie crust was sooo good. Definitely worth the experience and $30!

Great meal. Fresh and tasty.Enjoyed oysters and calamari to start. Two of us ate salmon stuffed with mushrooms and bousin cheese, one blackened salmon, and one blackened Chilean sea bass. All great. Children's menu available. Good service. Cool vibe. Reservation recommended during busier times.

Love the clam chowder here! Thick full of flavor chunks of clams that are tender with perfect potatoes. So darn yummy!

This place is fantastic! Stopped in for the first time tonight and was surprised by the atmosphere. More upscale, good music, and lively. The food was top notch. Started off with the calamari appetizer that came with 3 dipping sauces, all of which complimented the crispy, yet tender calamari. The main course was just as good. Went with the blackened silk snapper, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Delicious! Cooked perfectly. The lady had the Maryland crab cakes and said they were some of the best she's had around here. Will definitely be back!

Very tasty fish and chips. The dollar raw oyster bar is also a great deal.

My sister took me here for my birthday. It was so good! The food is good, I had the fish, and my niece who hardly ever eats finished the waffle plate! We had a couple of the mimosa flights. They came in different flavors, so we had to try them all, each of us liked different ones. The wait staff was all professional and knowledgeable about the menu. This is a terrific brunch spot and I’m sure we will be back.PS the bathroom was very tidy 👍

Food and service was good. Lobster roll was my favorite out of what we had. It was really good. The crab dip was awesome just wish it had something besides the pita chips. My wife had the crab boil and I liked it she thought was a bit heavy on the seasoning but still enjoyed it. All in all good food with a good overall experience. Would absolutely recommend and will be returning soon.

Only been here a couple of times but the service and food was excellent both times. I've been able to try new things both times and they were just amazing each time. Nice selection of adult drinks as well. It's nice that if we're looking for a date night or "fancy" meal we don't have to drive out to OP or into KC every time. This place is 5 star.

Fantastic food and service to match. Lots of seafood options for everyone. Fried, blackened, or boiled seafood entrees. The fish and chips are the best I've had in the United States or Amsterdam.

If you were looking for a great place to try and stop by Pearl Tavern. The food is tasty and the sea food is fresh. The appetizers are delicious so give them a try. The service is great and very attentive.
